Course Overview
This hands-on training course explores installing, managing, and maintaining VMware® Zimbra Collaboration Server (ZCS). The course discusses installation, basic administration & mail client usability, plus security improvement & hardening.

Course Objectives
On completion of this course, you should be able to install, customize, troubleshoot, maintain, and manage ZCS. Successful participants should understand the Zimbra architecture and be able to do the following:

1. Install Zimbra Network Edition
2. Use the Zimbra administration console and command-line tools
3. Monitor system logs, queues, and other resources
4. Manage backup and restore
5. Tune for performance
6. Plan and design for capacity
7. Build mail server for Microsoft Exchange Server/Lotus Domino Replacement

Silabus :

1. Course Introduction (Overview and schedule)
2. Zimbra Architectural Overview (Introduce architectural components of Zimbra)
3. Licensing (Install, activate, and check licenses)
4. Installing ZCS (Perform a single-server installation)
5. Zimbra Administration Console & Basic Administration Training (Manage domains, accounts, aliases, distribution lists and classes of service mailbox search)
6. CLI Utility (Use important utilities like zmprov and zmcontrol)
7. ZCS System Care (Monitor system by using console, logs, and daily mail report)
8. Backup and Restore (Schedule, perform, and troubleshoot backups)
9. Perform service and account restores
